Ever since the Rose Toys went viral on TikTok, there’s been a lot of hype about these adorable clit suckers.
A lot of copycat products flooded the market and now, “the-rose-toy-official.com” ( spoiler alert: Not the Rose Toys’ Official site ) has nearly 200 rose toys for sale. In fact, just last month I reviewed a flutter-tongue version and you can read the review here.
To remove some confusion with all the copycats and brand names, these rose toys are what we call “white label” toys. Basically, they’re mostly made in China, and almost any brand can slap their logo on it and call it theirs. This is very common on sites like Amazon, and in the cheap sex toy world.
Here I’ll focus on reviewing the rose toys from INYA, ROMP, and Lovehoney!
The Inya Rose by NSNovelties was the original design that made a big splash in the sheets (good thing it’s splash-resistant)!
At its lowest speed, it is the most powerful of this bouquet of roses.
In fact, when I turned it up to the second notch, it was much louder than the others and even started moving across the table on its own from the sheer force of its vibrations! I also didn’t notice much of a difference between the vibratory levels.
The whole toy is a solid piece of molded silicone which means you won’t lose pieces, but it’s also the hardest to clean because of all the creases. The beautiful handheld design makes the toy super enjoyable and versatile to use, like all rose toys official or not, and it can be used easily in a variety of positions.
ROMP and Lovehoney’s Rose are practically identical.
As far as I can tell, the only differences between them are aesthetic. They both have 10 functions (speeds and patterns) vs. Inya’s 7, and I found that the range was much broader with more gentle speeds and the patterns were a bit more enjoyable as well.
They both took a step further with waterproofing which means that if you want to submerge these blooms in the tub, it’s better to go with these ones rather than INYA.
The top of the rose comes off for easy cleaning, but I found that using it with the top off was even more pleasurable!
These have two buttons and I was hoping that they would function as plus and minus so you could scale back without rotating through all the options, but alas, for some strange reason that button is just an on/off button. It also has a travel lock for pleasure on the go.
I found the suction to actually be more intense than the original, and Lovehoney actually cautions not to use this rose sex toy for more than 15 minutes at a time (though they have a runtime of 65 minutes at full charge). You can always migrate to other areas though, like your nipples!
Last but not least, the Viben Zen Rose is probably the best option of them all!
The Viben Zen Rose is absolutely the rumbliest of the bunch, and those deep traveling vibes go a long way in making this toy a force to be reckoned with! For those in the know, this should come as no surprise since Viben is the maker of two of our favorite rumbly-as-hell wands.
The Zen offers 5 generous speeds with those rumbles but it could’ve still used a 6th weaker one for warm-up. So if you’re the sensitive type, you might have to get warm up a bit before putting the Zen into gear.
While Romp and Lovehoney’s Roses are easier to clean than the OG Rose, the Zen Rose is even better in that department, forgoing intense creases almost entirely. So if your play sessions tend to get extra messy, this one will serve you well!
The Zen Rose also has the biggest opening of them all ( it can fit a AA battery in its opening! ), so if you have a nice and sizeable clitoris it won’t let you down. Heck, even our resident trans agony uncle had only good things to say about this model in his review of it.
It’s also the only Rose to come in a beautiful unique marbled colorway! But if you are feeling basic, they also include the obvious color choices as well.
While this is definitely the most pleasurable option, the Viben Zen Rose does come with a few small caveats: For one, it is the loudest Rose of the bunch, though this is mostly due to it’s surprising power. It’s also only splashproof, like the original, so don’t submerge it underwater!
CONCLUSION
If you’re looking for a cheap rumbly toy, the Inya Rose / Original Rose is the way to go.
But if you prefer a toy that can start low and end pretty high, that is easier to clean, and is fully waterproof at the sacrifice of the rumbles, ROMP and Lovehoney are the best choices for you. The only difference between the two are the colors.
And for those unwilling to compromise the Viben Zen Rose is the most powerful and easy to clean of them all. It’s also the one with the most beautiful color options. But it’s only splashproof, so do not submerge it in the water!

Satisfyer
Satisfyer was the first brand to directly follow in Womanizer’s footsteps after they pioneered Air pulse stimulators.
The Satisfyers all have three buttons: increase, decrease, and patterns. The on/off button is a long press on the increase button (in the middle) and if you press it even longer, you can connect with the app (if you went for one of their app-connected toys).
I found that the patterns are a step above many other pattern options I’ve come across. There’s a nice, gradual wave of intensities with some patterns that I found particularly enjoyable.
The vibrations come from a separate motor as the air-pulse feature.
You can feel the vibrations coming from a spot farther up the shaft and at first I thought it seemed a bit weird that the vibrations weren’t strongly emanating from the stimulation head, like with other vibrators, but it grew on me.
Because the vibrations are fairly buzzy, the distance from the motor actually enhances the tingly sensation. It’s much gentler than most vibrators overall and really complements the air-pulse sensation rather than overpowering it.

If you’re using the app, there are all the typical features you might expect: live control, patterns, partner play, and music and ambient sound sync.

The SONA feels great in your hand, and the buttons are well-placed.

The suction head is on the wide side of the spectrum and it is actually one of the better toys for creating a good seal. The suction isn’t overpowering, but it’s definitely working.
The Tenera 2 is like if you blended the Satisfyer Pro 2 Gen 3 with the We-Vibe Melt, made it cute like a Rose, then added a bit of a soft and classy vibe.
It doesn’t have that thudding sensation you get from the roses, nor is it high-powered like the Lelo suckers but rather has a smoother and more delicate suction.
There are 9 suction settings in total, with a nice selection of patterns to choose from. The vibrations aren’t too rumbly or too buzzy, but stay in that Goldilocks zone just a bit below the surface. Silky.

Comparing it to the other toys was a bit difficult, it’s just so different! It feels like the suction is more effective, but also gentler than most of the others. The more I use it, the more I like it.
If you need super strong and rumbly vibrations, this probably isn’t the right toy for you. However, if you tend to be more sensitive and responsive to sublety, you’ll love the Tenera 2.
