Come around, sex toy adventurer.
Sure you’ve heard of the legends of dildos, butt plugs, anal beads. Of course, there’s masturbation sleeves, teledilonics, fucking machines or airpulse vibrators, suction toys, and grinding toys… aye, but have ye ever heard of ovipositors?
Set your phasers to fun, because we’re testing the most out-of-this-world toys: ovipositors.
(Cue a Star Wars-style opening title crawl.)
So ovipositor dildo toys are one of a kind, unique, and deeply intriguing. They’re meant for real specific fantasies or sensations, and require two parts: the ovipositor and the eggs it “lays”.
They’re sex toys made out of silicone that have silicone or gelatin eggs that can be pushed from the toy into your body for a decidedly unique experience.
Wild! So… why are people into ovipostor dildos?
When I’ve shown off my ovipositor hoard to friends, the first question I get asked is, “why?”
Those who love them get it, but to the uninitiated normies, it can understandably seem like a lot.
The reasons someone might enjoy an ovipositor are pretty varied but here are the most common ones:
- They’re into the sci-fi fantasy of it!
Some monster fuckers find it hot to imagine being filled with eggs from whatever franchise they find hottest. - They’re into the sensation!
People play with ovipositors often with the aim of feeling filled to the brim. That’s a hard sensation to feel with other toys, and ovipositors are truly unique in this! - They’re into the gender-bending element of it!
Ovipositors fuck around with gender and sex and biology. It’s a phallus that lays eggs, and for a lot of people that’s exactly what they want inside their holes.
Also, make sure to see our guide on what lubes to use as well as how to clean your toys to avoid any complications.
So without further ado, here are the best ovipositor dildo options available today!

Before you go, adventurer, here are some ovipositor dildo tips:
- Arguably, any of the toys on our list would benefit from Primal Hardwere’s Egg Insertion Tool.
This is a plastic device that helps push the eggs along the inside of the toy, which is a real help especially when your hands are covered in lube.
Another option to help push the eggs inside the canal is using a firm but thin dildo (something similar to the Tantus Silk dildos). It can help push the eggs into the ovipositor, then give them a head start to push them through the tunnel. - Remember: ovipositors with silicone eggs are not approved for anal use.
I repeat: do not put silicone eggs in your butt. Your night of sexy alien roleplaying would not benefit from a visit to the emergency room. - Anal advice: if you are really dedicated to the idea of using ovipositors in your butt use the gelatin egg molds from Primal Hardwere.
They suit the G’lorp and Splorch perfectly, but likely would work with any of the ovipositors on this list. (Make sure you get the right size egg mold for your toy, or else you could break your toy!)
Remember, while gelatin eggs should melt inside the body and come out, there are no guarantees. - Have lots of lube! This is a must for ovipositors, especially since you need lube to push the eggs through the toy.
I personally prefer X-Lube for toys like this, as it’s a powdered lube that you mix with water to create as much lube on demand. Not only is it easy to customize (more water, less water), but you can make buckets of lube for a fraction of the cost.
Extra bonus: X-Lube has a kind of slimy, stringy, alien texture that pairs so well with ovipositors. It sticks to absolutely everything, which makes it ideal for a very lube-demanding experience like ovipositors.
Creature Cocks Ovipositors

If you’re not sure about ovipositor toys, or want a toy that is more affordable or easily accessible at local sex stores, check out Creature Cocks’ Ovispositors!
I’ve reviewed their medium-length toy, the Galactic Breeder, and it’s significantly smaller than other toys on this list.
They also make an even smaller model and a longer one as well, for anyone else interested!
This might make it more approachable for someone just starting to play out their sci-fi fantasies. The opening for the eggs is also quite large, which makes it easier to push the eggs inside and through the tunnel.
Now, the Creature Cocks Ovipositor is very textured.
One side of the ovipositor has a stippled rough texture, which makes it feel realistically organic and almost scaly! The other side of the toy is smooth but has two rows of Cheerio-sized suction cups from tip to base. It’s a lot, and personally, I found it a little bit too much for my sensibilities.
(Also a fun little feature, but the back of the silicone toy also has a kind of raised cybersigil tattoo for added stimulation!)
The fact that the toy has 7-8 ribbed layers or sections makes it easier to hold, and push the eggs along the inner tube.
The trickiest part of using an ovipositor is trying to master the movement needed to push the eggs inside the toy into your body, and oddly enough I found the size of the Creature Cocks toy to make it slightly harder. Like, with the other toys on the list, you can squeeze the shaft and push the eggs through that way but because this toy is shorter, you risk pushing the eggs out the base again.
The Creature Cocks Ovipositor also comes with these oval-shaped eggs. Despite the tentacle theme of the toy, the design of the eggs actually makes me think of plant pods or flower bulbs–I know tentacles are more accessible as a fantasy, but I kind of think this would have been really novel as a plant-themed ovipositor. (Let me roleplay a Poison Ivy fantasy, damnit!)
WHERE TO BUY
Uncover Creations Alien Ovipositor

The Uncover Creations Alien ovipositor is perfect for someone who wants either a small or a thick plush tentacle with all the thrill of an ovipositor.
The design of this one reminds me a little bit of the Sinnovator Dagon Depth Trainer, as it’s smooth while still being explicitly an otherworldly presence.
And the fact that it comes in two sizes makes it a toy that should fit most tastes!

The Alien ovipositor is perfect for someone who wants stimulation and texture, but nothing overwhelming.
The walls of the toy are dense and quite thick, and adding the eggs makes it feel kind of like an inflatable! It feels a little more subtle than something like the Sinnovator Scarabaeus for example.
The design might be more approachable than others on the list. But it is definitely unique and will stand out from other toys in your toybox, but not in a “that’s a tentacle/alien/plant” dick kind of way. It’s way less obvious than expected if you compare it to others on the list!
The spiral eggs that come with the Alien are also my favorite type offered from Uncover!
The eggs have these deep spiral grooves and they hold a lot of lube, which keeps them comfortable and slick both inside the ovipositor and whoever is the recipient of them.
If you’re looking for an ovipositor that’s a little more sculptural with a dense silicone feel, try this!

Also, like all of Uncover’s toys, this ovipositor dildo is deeply customizable!
So if you’re looking for a scary alien colorway, or something totally adorable, it’s really your choice in what direction you want to go!
WHERE TO BUY
Uncover Creations Xenomorph
You know who you are. You know what this is, and why you want it.
For those who understand, I can imagine it’s a deep, dark fantasy that’s hidden away in the hidden recesses of your mind. You watched a franchise of movies where a scary alien was hunting people down, and found that it woke something up inside you as well.
The Unconver Creations Xenomorph ovipositor is a beautifully designed toy and much more subtle than expected.
The silicone is, of course, impeccable. It’s squishy, slick, and dense in all the right places. The tip of the ovipositor has a thick pad of silicone, which helps it glide into the body more easily than others. (If you’ve ever tried a tunnel plug, you’ll understand the difficulty.)
Plus, the fact that it comes in two sizes means it should please both enjoyers of small and big toys!

The Xenomorph has plenty of texture, but it isn’t overwhelming partially to do with the softness of the silicone.
Too much texture can rough up my body in a way I just don’t appreciate, so something like this is just enough novelty without carpet burn.
Again, deep customization means you don’t HAVE to go Xenomorph black…
You could also go face hugger pink for even more lore-accurate egg depositing! Or anything you want, really.
WHERE TO BUY
Sinnovator Spore Ovipositor

I’m going to say something a bit wild.
The Sinnovator Spore has the most metal and intense looking design out of nearly any toy I’ve tried… and yet…
I think this might be the most easily accessible for someone totally new to ovipositors!
Before you start throwing silicone eggs at me, let me explain.
First let’s discuss the obvious: this toy looks hardcore. It looks like something straight out of Starcraft game, or even an 80s dark fantasy movie. With the spikes, it makes me feel like I’m a main character in a text-based game who found a bad ending. The whole look of it is thorny and horny, I adore it.
The Spore comes with plenty of texture as well, without being overkill.
The smoother side of the toy still has grooves and ridges, allowing you to also get a better grip (helpful when your hands are full of lube). The other side of the toy has these more pronounced ridges slightly underneath a smoother level of silicone, and means that your body isn’t constantly coming into contact with the more intense textures.
The only real downside in my experience is that you will want to use something to push the eggs past the base, as it’s very thick.
In that case, try using enough lube and something like a thin dildo to push them past that part.

With all that, why is this my pick for an ovipositor newb? The thickness!
The shaft of the Spore is significantly thinner than most ovipositors while still being just as long. The eggs will add extra width, so the Spore doesn’t become overwhelmingly thick when an egg is in the tube.
Plus, the length of the toy makes it easier to squeeze the eggs into someone!

Just like Uncover, Sinnovator offers a deep level of customization.
So personalize your monster to your liking, make it match your outfit, or your deepest darkest fantasies!
WHERE TO BUY
Sinnovator Scarabaeus Ovipositor

The Sinnovator Scarabaeus ovipositor is high up on the list of “ovipositors that look the most alien”.
You can overlook how monstrous some of these ovipositors look, but with the Scarabaeus, that’s just not possible.
The Scarabaeus is a very special toy: it’s not just an ovipositor, but a knotted toy as well!
Near the base of the toy rests a fairly large knot, fulfilling a very specific fantasy. Thinking about insects, this makes a lot of sense considering what documentaries have taught me (aka nature is scary).
This toy leans towards a more bug aesthetic, however I received the Scarabaeus in a deliciously juicy shade of royal blue and I can’t stop thinking of it as “the lobster ovipositor”. This isn’t a downside, just a surprise!
The design and sculpt is out of this world, and they went above and beyond to craft this toy.
I would recommend it for anyone intrigued by it, especially as most of the toy isn’t overly thick. The thickness is similar to the Sinnovator Spore, so you’ll feel more of a distinct size difference as the egg is pushed through it.

Again, like any other Sinnvotor toy, you can customize the color of your toy to your exact specifications.
So let your imagination go wild and aim for the exact tones that might turn you on … or terrify you in the best way possible!
One word of warning: the tip of the toy is a little difficult to insert, especially with the little dangly feeler bits. If you find yourself struggling to insert it, try sticking one of the silicone eggs and using it to stabilize the tip of the toy as it’s inserted.
WHERE TO BUY
Primal Hardwere Splorch

Primal Hardwere has been on my radar ever since I saw their appearance in the fantastic Vice show Slutever (urgh RIP Slutever, we didn’t deserve your show!). In the episode entitled, Alien Sex Eggs and Monster Fantasies, I was introduced to ovipositors for the first time and was enthralled by what I saw.
What makes Primal Hardwere’s ovipositors different is that they’re meant to work with gelatin eggs ( No included silicone eggs this time around! ).
You get egg molds from their site that are suited for the toy’s size, then mix up a batch of gelatin eggs using their recipe online and a pack of unflavored gelatin. (If you’re looking for a vegan alternative, they have recipes for those as well.)
Making the eggs out of gelatin means that they’re not completely unsafe to use anally–however, play at your own risk.
In contrast to the Primal Hardwere’s G’Lorp, the Splorch is much more approachable for the average person.
I mean, is it huge? Yes, but at almost 10 inches of usable length it’s more similar to large dildos found in any sex store.
The first thing I noticed about the Splorch was how soft in texture it was!
The silicone feels velvety, and when paired with the peach colour, it was almost eerie how similar it felt to smooth skin. As someone who loves very squishy toys, I found myself more interested in the sensation of the gelatin eggs inside an equally soft silicone.
There’s far less texture on the Splorch than with the G’Lorp, and personally, I found that more comfortable. Too much ribbing can be overwhelming with everything else going on, but what works for my body might not work for yours.
The overall design of the Splorch feels extremely gender-fuckery, which I loved.
The base of the toy is clearly an alien vulva, which like, hell yeah!
Not only that but the tip of the shaft also looks quite yoni-inspired. If a huge part of ovipositor thrill for you is the alien reproductive organs, the Splorch might be exactly what you’re looking for.
WHERE TO BUY
Primal Hardwere G’lorp

Are you looking for a massive ovipositor toy? Something nearly the same size as someone’s forearm, and something that pushes how alien a sex toy can look?
Check out the G’lorp, because that’s exactly what you’ve been craving.
You need to understand: this thing is huge.
Besides the Hankey’s Toys Siswet, this might be one of the largest toys in my collection (and certainly the biggest conversation starter). Only attempt the G’lorp if you are a card-carrying size queen, you absolutely must be someone who regularly practices with large toys to even attempt this monster!

Also, don’t forget that the G’lorp gets even bigger when there are eggs inside it. Much like an inflatable toy, the G’lorp is meant to get larger when the eggs are inserted inside. Larger eggs means thicker G’lorp. This thing becomes HUGE.
The G’lorp is also very firm in order to accommodate its sheer size.
It isn’t squishy like others on the list, but I don’t think it’d be possible without it being unruly trying to squeeze the eggs into your body.
The G’Lorp has very realistic wrinkles and bumps along the outside shaft, making it feel extremely organic despite the feeler tentacles. The textures are pronounced but not sharp, which would take this toy from a challenge to a deathwish trying to attempt it.
